Transforming your home with a new stoneface exterior starts with choosing the best color, style and texture for your unique home. We’ll then create your custom stoneface by mixing three types of cement plaster (Portland, Masonry Type N, and white) with iron oxide pigments. Once this cement is applied and set, our craftsmen will sculpt your chosen style of stone.

Four-Step Installation:

  • Step One: After the galvanized metal lath is installed, the base coat of plaster cement is trowelled, allowed to set, then “scratched”.  This is referred to as the scratch coat.
  • Step Two: The second coat of cement (joint coat) is applied and allowed to set.
  • Step Three: Finally, the color cement coat is applied. The cement is applied more heavily in specific areas, and then spread to achieve the texture and thickness of stone. Once this coat has set, the stone design of your choice is cut deep enough to reveal the joint coat.
  • Step Four: Any final color that you desire can be spotted or rolled on with a brush, creating an undeniably unique stone design. Colors are mixed with iron oxide pigments, cement, and water. These colors do not rust, fade, or wash off.
